Run Rules


  • This event is open to companies, clubs or groups of individuals.
  • Participants must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Each team must register online in order to be officially entered and eligible to participate.
  • All participants must certify that they are medically fit to take part in this event.
  • Each group must register a minimum of one complete team of 6 runners. Teams can be either male, female or mixed.


  • All participants must wear a face mask before, during and after the run. You will be able to remove your mask during the run once the group spreads out.
  • All team members must participate unaided. Roller skates, skateboards, roller blades, roller skis, bicycles and animals are strictly prohibited anywhere along the course. Their use will result in disqualification of the individual runner and may result in team disqualification.
  • No food or beverages maybe brought onto the event area unless written permission is acquired from the event organizes.
  • Participants will be issued with wristband and must wear these to access the event area and run route. No wristband no entry.


  • The event is subject to the Disaster Management Act Regulations. Should these regulations change to prohibit the event, it will be postponed to a date in line with the regulations. Entry fees are non-refundable and non-transferable in the case of event cancellation.
  • The event organizers reserve the right to make additions, changes, or clarifications to these rules without prior notice to company teams or participants. The event organiser will endeavour to advise teams of any rule change prior to the race, but any such change shall be considered binding upon all company teams and participants whether or not a team or its participants has received notice of the change prior to the race.
  • The event organiser reserves the right to reject or disqualify any participant or team whose conduct is inappropriate to the spirit of the race. Individual disqualification may lead to the disqualification of the entire team and/or company. It is expected that teams and team members will represent their company in a sportsmanlike and professional manner.
  • No alcoholic beverages will be served to attendees under the age of 18 years.
  • Prohibited items such as firearms, weapons, and alcohol are strictly prohibited.
  • Any person entering the event premises or remaining thereon does so at his/her own risk. The event organisers shall not be liable for the loss, damage, or theft of any valuables and/or property.
  • Violation of any of the rules listed above may result in disqualification of any participant, team, and/or the entire company. The decision of the event organizers is final.
